According to authorities, a teenager gets hit by a car after another teen, encouraged by her mother, chases her into the busy street.

The two teens began fighting earlier in the day Monday. Police report one of the teens was brought back to the scene by her mother, who gave her daughter a stick and the go ahead to fight.

The teen then chased the other into the street where she was hit by a car.

The woman and her daughter have been arrested. The girl that was struck by the car is expected to be OK.
