A Croatian man miraculously survived a 700 foot fall down the side of a canyon after he lost control of his car and plunged into a ravine. Luckily for Cedo Jerbic, his car landed on a tree and he escaped the incident with only a few bruised ribs. He said he lost control of his Skoda Octavia while cruising along the Velebit mountain in Croatia.

The governor of Tora Bora in Afghanistan is planning to convert the famous secret caves hideout of top al-Qaeda terrorist Osama Bin Laden, into a $10 million resort. According to The Sun newspaper, former warlord Gul Agha Sherazi, now a local governor in the region, has convinced investors to put up hotels and restaurants on mountains overlooking Bin Laden's Tora Bora refuge.

Tiny Green Mountain College in Vermont is going greener with plans to use cow manure to generate power. Officials at the 750-student liberal arts collge in Poultney, Vermont said the plan will cut its greenhouse gas emissions.

A man suspected of embezzling over $100,000 from his company attempted to elude police by posing as a monk. Chen Boshi, suspected of embezzling $126,500 from his power company, took refuge in a monastery in the neighboring province of Hubei, Xinhua news agency said Monday.
