A movie set at a downtown post office turned all too real for a group of high school filmmakers. Members of the high school Spanish club were shooting a movie when the police showed up believing a hostage crisis was going on inside the post office. Police cordoned off the block, cleared nearby buildings and surrounded the post office ready for a hostage crisis. When a group of students left the post office, they were ordered to get on the ground, face down.

A blogger for the Washington Post Web site quit after allegations surfaced that he plagiarized movie reviews in college. Ben Domenech, 24, had recently begun writing the blog when Salon. com made the allegations against him. Jim Brady, executive editor of the Washington Post blog said, "In the past 24 hours, we learned of allegations that Ben Domenech plagiarized material that appeared under his byline in various publications prior to washingtonpost. com contracting with him to write a blog that launched Tuesday. "

A hospital in Virginia is making up for slow service by giving patients in the emergency room who wait over 30 minutes for a doctor free movie tickets. Pam Hash, administrative director of emergency services at the newly opened St. Francis Medical Center says, "Shortening emergency room waiting times is part of a hospital-wide initiative aimed at improving patient care.

In a striking similarity to the Tom Hanks movie, "The Terminal," a young man has been living at O'Hare Airport for about four weeks. The man from Romania who was deserted by his prospective bride was found living penniless in the international terminal. Aviation officials said they believe the man is still there, waiting for paperwork from the U. S. Customs Service before he can get a flight home to Romania.
