In an apparent imitation of an MTV prank, four Long Island eighth graders handed out laxative laced doughnuts to their classmates, sending some of them back home and a few to the hospital. According to officials at Sequoya Middle School, the doughnuts were served to some 18 students and a staff member who then reported the school officials. The children were feeling well and the parents were informed of the situation, the school officials said in a statement, according to WABC-TV reports.

Tennis ace Maria Sharapove got more than what she expected at the Wimbledon tournament when un unexpected streaker did a nude cartwheel in center court. The streaker, a Dutch disc jockey by the name of Sander Lantinga, wore an outfit held together only with velcro and stripped down to his sneakers and black socks before committing the dirty deed.

VH1 has partnered with IFILM to launch the new weekly countdown show, "Web Junk 20," premiering Friday, January 13 at 11:30 PM. Hosted by comic Patrice O'Neal, "Web Junk 20" will celebrate and bring a unique look to all the weirdest, wildest and most comedic Internet video clips floating in cyberspace. The Internet has proven to be a double-edged sword. Not only is it viewed by some as the single-most important advancement for mankind and modern technology, it has made it a lot easier to watch video clips of celebrity slip-ups, animated satire, bloopers and every day people at their most outrageous over and over again, while sharing it with your nearest and dearest.

Rap fueds really usually don't stem from differing political opinions, the state of the nation, or George W. Bush, for that matter. But, in the case between rap stars 50 Cent and Kanye West, it appears that the two see things quite differently when it comes to George W. Bush and the handling of his job.

"SpongeBob SquarePants" is set to premiere in 120 million Chinese households by the end of the year. It follows other shows on Viacom's Nickelodeon network, such as "CatDog" and "The Wild Thornberrys," which will air on the children's channel of state-run broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV). "SpongeBob" is expected to launch in China on or around December 28, the one-year anniversary of the CCTV Children's Channel.
