Police say a mother in western Arkansas may have used ant poison to kill her three young children. They found four cups near the poison and a letter in Spanish saying the mother could not live without their father.

A couple that had their love life ruined by a badly behaved puppy, were reunited with the help of a British TV Dog trainer. "Bailey" a Yorkshire terrier hindered Phil Woodlock from sharing a bed, or even a sofa, with girlfriend Jacqui Mallin.

Police charged a 13-year-old Philadelphia boy with murder for setting a fire that killed a teenage girl and seriously wounded her mother. The boy started the fire because of a dispute over money. It was set in rowhouse located in the city's East Mount Airy neighborhood, reports The Associated Press.

Perrie Simpson, an inmate convicted of the brutal 1984 murder of a retired minister, a day after the Baptist preacher gave him food and money, was executed Friday by lethal injection. The execution came after Governor Mike Easley rejected Simpson's clemency request Thursday evening and after the U. S. Supreme Court rejected his appeal.
