Son Allegedly Hits 81-Yr-Old Dad With Hammer To Get Him Into Nursing Home

A 57-year old man allegedly attacked his 81-year-old father with a hammer and hit him on the head, according to authorities. The San Mateo prosecutors said the suspect Jayantibhai Patel, who is staying in his father's house in Foster City, hit his father with a hammer because he thought the 81-year-old man needed to be sent to the hospital before being sent to a nursing home. Patel wants to keep his father in a nursing home so he can move back to India.

A Romanian convict's legal action against God was rejected, because prosecutors could not find God's address. Pavel Mircea, who is currently serving a 20 year sentence for murder, launched the action against God two years ago. "God and I closed a contract when I was baptised and God did not respect his part of the deal," said Mircea. "He was supposed to protect me from all evils and instead he gave me to Satan who encouraged me to kill. " Mircea also demanded financial compensation for money spent on candles and church services. But Romanian prosecutors have decided to drop the case after two years. "We could not find God's address," a spokesman said. "He has no home address. "

Police in Britain reportedly arrested a female juror in a London murder trial for using a traditional hijab headscarf to conceal the earphones of her MP3 player she used to listen to music during an ongoing trial in the court. The Muslin woman, whose identity has not yet been released, is said to be in her 20s. Police accused her of using the MP3 player to avoid listening to evidence in the trial of Alan Wicks, a retired businessman who was accused of beating his disabled wife to death.

NSW Murderers Given Fresh Appeal Due To Missing Staple

Every criminal file in the New South Wales Supreme Court is being reviewed after an administrative blunder has resulted in a fresh appeal for murderers. Two of the murderers of Sydney woman, Ms Janine Balding have been granted special leave to take their case to the High Court due to a missing staple from their file. This effectively quashes the pair's unsuccessful appeal in 1992.

A teenage Japanese boy walked into a police station with a severed head and claimed he killed his sleeping mother a day before her birthday in northern Fukushima state Tuesday. The police followed the boy to his house later and recovered a headless body from his house.
