The Jolly Green Giant, Cap'n Crunch and Kool-Aid Man and more than 2,000 other legendary advertising icons continue spreading their message at the Advertising Icon Museum, the permanent home of the "Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame."
The Kansas City museum will showcase the world's largest collection of three-dimensional advertising icons.
Robert Bernstein, the museum's founder and creator of the McDonald's Happy Meal, says, "Advertising icons are more than just pop culture -- they reflect changes in our social character."
Bernstein continues, "People need to realize the tremendous role they play in our lives."
In addition to the collection and exhibits, the museum will feature a two- story sculptural centerpiece, a wide range of educational programs for students from elementary school children to marketing scholars, and a gift shop.
