In an attempt to collect artifacts that represent life from modern times, the Finnish National Museum and the Helsinki City Museum are keeping a box for a frozen pizza as one of their several new collectibles. The artifacts in the museum would represent life from the 21st century and would include items like the pizza box and an edition of the music magazine Sue.

A substitute music teacher from an elementary school in Boulder, Colorado has been arrested after she whacked a 10-year-old student on the head with a viola bow. Carla Shinners, who is better known by the nickname "Mrs. Grumpy Lady" is also accused of swearing in front of students. The 63-year-old handed herself to police Tuesday after an arrest warrant was issued on her name. The incident took place on February 12 when Shinners, a teacher for more than 30 years in the district, was interrupted by a call on her own cell phone and she then began swearing.

A music equipment technician got the best bargain ever when he unknowingly purchased a rare, 184-year-old copy of the Declaration of Independence at a Nashville thrift shop for $2. 48. However, the experts are now estimating its price at about 100,000 times the price it was bought for. The bargain hunter - Michael Sparks, is now selling the document in an auction March 22nd at Raynors' Historical Collectible Auctions in Burlington, North Carolina. According to AP reports, he has earmarked a price of $125,000 for the opening bid but historians say there are chances it might sell for nearly twice that.

A survey conducted by an insurance and financial services group has shown that the majority of U. S. drivers do everything ranging from eating and reading to writing grocery lists and nursing babies when behind the wheel. Thirty-one percent of respondents admitted to day dreaming, and 14 percent of the surveyed drivers said they took advantage of time spent driving to discipline their children. The survey, conducted by Nationwide Mutual Insurance on more than 1,200 American drivers, showed that the majority of American drivers do all sorts of outlandish things while driving - including changing clothes, balancing a checkbook and even shaving.

In an attempt to increase the productivity of its workers, Bangkok municipal office has launched a new nap program just past noon where civil servants are invited to take an afternoon nap. The Pathumwan district office in central Bangkok has reportedly set up a lunchtime "nap room" that has an ambience of soft music, sweet-smelling flowers and blinds drawn. Also there are strict rules that bar mobile phones and talking.
