A 26-year-old man from Chester, Pennsylvania was arrested by Delaware State Police after running naked and intoxicated on Interstate-95, which caused three vehicular accidents.
According to police investigator, the suspect, Ardonas Gilbert, was charged with a single count of being drunk on the highway and two counts of assault after he was seen running around 10 p.m. along the southbound lanes on Marsh Road.
Police said that two residents were trying to help Gilbert but he began to assault them, then he ran in the middle of the highway, which caused three vehicular accidents after the motorists tried to avoid hitting the suspect.
No one was seriously hurt in the incident.
Gilbert is now detained at the Howard Young Correctional Institute in Wilmington.
