A New Zealand couple has been told that their newborn son can't be named 4real, a name Pat and Sheena Wheaton picked out after being hit with the reality of the pregnancy after their first ultrasound. "For most of us, when we try to figure out what our names mean, we have to look it up in a baby's book and . . . there's no direct link between the meaning and the name," Pat Wheaton told TV One, according to the Associated Press, "With this name, everyone knows what it means. "

A statue commemorating the life of Britain's late Queen Mother has been unveiled. The statue, which was revealed Thursday, shows her looking towards Buckingham Palace standing alongside the statue of her husband, the late King George VI. The statue will be mounted on a stone plinth off London's Mall and it'll be accompanied by panels showing scenes from the life of the Queen Mother and King George.

Man Trying To Avoid DWI Charged With Faking Identity

A man who cleverly tried to escape the drunken-driving charge eventually landed himself in further trouble after he called the same person for help whose identity he had faked. Sebastian Nabor, 28, was charged with criminal impersonation for using his brother's name to avoid a DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) charge. According to authorities, Sebastian was arrested driving early Sunday after an officer saw him hitting the curb. On closer approach, the officer smelled alcohol and found an open container of beer in the car, the Texarkana Gazette reports.

Indian Couple Commits Suicide After Death Of Their Dog

An Indian couple in their sixties committed suicide after their dog, "Puppy," died, leaving behind a note explaining they were putting an end to their lives because they could not endure the loss. Police found the bodies of C. N. Madanraj, 66, and his wife, 63-year-old Tara Bai, in their home. They had hanged themselves.

Indian Couple Invite 250 Beggars To Thier Wedding Party

In a bid to seek blessings from them, a couple from Kolkata, India sent personal invitations to nearly 250 beggars in the city for their wedding reception party. The groom's father Malay Saha said on Friday that it's a tradition in their family to invite beggars to the wedding ceremony "to seek divine blessings and fortune in the life of the newly married sons and daughters. " The family believes that the tradition brings them good fortune. Thus, they invited beggars by asking their names from them and then writing it down on the envelopes. The tradition of inviting beggars to a wedding is traced back to their great-grandfather Satish Chandra, who too invited 175 beggars to his wedding party. "And they blessed my son and daughter-in-law from their heart," said the groom's father.
