Police arrested two men who wheeled a corpse in an office chair through the streets of Manhattan, with an attempt to cash in the dead man's Social Security check. The pair, David J. Dalaia and James O'Hare, pushed the chair that contained the body of 66-year old Virgilio Cintron from the two men's apartment in Manhattan, to the Pay-O-Matic, a store that cashes checks. They pushed the corpse for one block, according to witness testimonies reported by the police.

The brothers who escaped with injuries after being attacked by a tiger at the San Francisco Zoo on Christmas Day will be suing the zoo authorities for a security lapse. The brothers have hired one of the top lawyers of the country to represent them in court. Paul and Kulbir Dhaliwal have appointed Mark Geragos to file a lawsuit on their behalf. Geragos is a celebrated lawyer, having represented high profile clients like Michael Jackson and Winona Ryder.

A Florida based-company claims they have found the first scientific way of finding true romance and said that the body odor is the main source of attraction. The dating company, ScientificMatch. com, claims to be the first service to use used its DNA matching to link somebody to that perfect someone. The service is scheduled to be launched Tuesday in Boston.

The Berlin Zoo celebrated the first birthday of its famous polar bear Knut, who was born and then rejected by its mother. Since infancy, the polar bear has caught the attention and the endearment of people the world over. The birthday celebration, which was held Wednesday, involved more than 2,000 attendees by noon, and was highlighted by a giant birthday cake made from 300 eggs and 22 pounds of marzipan.
