Inspired by those sporting signs on roadsides such as, "Will work for food," a Nebraska man is seeking the one thing he's willing to work for - a wife. And he's apparently willing to do whatever it take to find one.

Harold is 45, single, and in the market for a spouse. His efforts include the purchasing of a billboard with the message "Wife Wanted: willworkforawife.org, 'Walk by Faith, Not by Sight.'"

The billboard is designed to direct people to his Web site that indicates he's looking for in a potential mate. Local reports also claim Howard spent Tuesday at a busy intersection with a picket-style sign.

As a truck driver, Howard says he finds it tough to meet women. Despite his extraordinary means of searching for Mrs. Right, his to-be wife simply needs to be "...a woman who is kind, who is polite, courteous, that treats other people with respect, dignity, and integrity."

The billboard will be in downtown Omaha later this month - hoping to snag a bride by Christmas.

Harold has spent about $1,000 searching for a spouse and plans to spend as many months as the weather will allow standing on street corners, drawing attention to his cause.
