San Antonio, TX (AHN) The New Orleans Saints announced Friday that for the second time in less than two weeks, a player was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Cornerback Fakhir Brown was taken into custody Wednesday after being pulled over for a moving violation. He bonded out a short time later.
Two weeks ago, linebacker Courtney Watson was also charged with DWI in an Oct. 26 incident. The Saints' spokesman confirmed Brown's arrest and said the team would review the matter and decide on a course of action.
The New Orleans Saints have been displaced since Hurricane Katrina and have been based in San Antonio on a temporary basis.
