A 52-year-old man from New Zealand has been charged with driving a lawn mower while drunk, police said Tuesday.
Police spokeswoman Sarah Kennett said Richard Gunn was driving the lawn mower late Monday when police stopped him at a street in the northern New Zealand town of Dargaville.
Police said Gunn lost his driver's license and his breath alcohol level was more than twice the limit for drivers.
Gunn said he has been using the lawn mower since he lost his license and he usually strolls around town.
