Newlyweds Jeanie Dulski and Jamy Knittle literally knows how to make a big plunge.

On Friday they made two plunges, one plunging into married life. And second, plunging out of an airplane to celebrate a blissful life ahead.

Getting married is scarier than jumping out of a plane," Dulski explained.

On the ground ceremony, Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta officiated the wedding for Dulski and Knittle, both 30. About 45 minutes after they were pronounced husband and wife, the couple took a plane up to 10,000 feet and jumped out.

According to Barletta, it was perhaps the most unusual nuptial ceremony he has performed.

"I'm sure my wife would like to see me jump out of an airplane without a parachute," he joked.
