A 25-year-old woman was arrested and is now facing a second-degree assault charge when she argued with his boyfriend over whether the dog should be allowed inside the bathroom while the couple was taking a shower.

On Thursday night, the 26-year-old man wanted his dog to join them while taking a shower but the woman objected to the idea, a police report said.

The woman insisted that if the dog did not stay out, she would call off the relationship. He replied that maybe he could find a better girlfriend that would appreciate the dog more, and called her a name.

The woman punched him in the face several times and the man's shoulder was dislocated after the naked couple wrestled. The man accused his girlfriend of throwing a picture frame at him that also caused some injuries, police report said.

The woman was jailed and bail has been set at $50,000 at the Kitsap County Jail in Port Orchard.
