Sarah Jessica Parker disapproves of her "Sex and the City" character. The actress - who plays columnist Carrie Bradshaw for all six TV series, last year's movie and will reprise her role for next year's film - didn't agree with the raunchy antics her alter-ego and her friends got up to.

She is quoted as saying: "If the audiences had known my true feelings about some of the sexual content in 'Sex and the City,' they may have felt I wasn't the right person to be in such a series."

Ryan Reynolds wore cellophane underwear in his latest movie. The 32-year-old actor - who plays PA Andrew Paxton in "The Proposal," about an assistant whose boss forces him to marry her to ensure she isn't deported - had no problem donning the transparent garment as he thinks he looked good in it.

Discussing whether a scene in which he and co-star Sandra Bullock appear naked was "sexy", he joked: "I don't know what was unsexy about it. I mean I was furnished with cellophane underwear that day. That's a beautiful sight. A nice see through, cellophane Speedo."

The Tallmadge city council in Ohio has proposed a nuisance ordinance that will ban businesses from parading dancing employees dressed in costumes along sidewalks to advertise their establishments.

The ordinance was introduced apparently due to public complaints against distracting advertising strategies, including carrying of signs to invite customers.

Russell Crowe stripped off and "wallowed" in mud with Cate Blanchett for their latest film. The stars are currently filming "Robin Hood" - based on the legend of the British outlaw - in the U.K. and have had a number of unusual experiences.

Russell, who plays title character Robin in the movie, said: "So far we have ridden horses together, seen off bad guys, got naked (partially) wallowed chin deep in mud, danced by firelight, attended a funeral and kissed. What can I say? It's an interesting gig."

Heather Graham wanted to "get naked" in London. The actress - who plays a stripper in her new movie "The Hangover" - has no problem exposing her flesh and was even willing to remove her clingy blue dress for the film's U.K. premiere in London's Leicester Square Wednesday night.

When asked about nude scenes in the movie, the 39-year-old star said: "I was hoping to get naked tonight!"
