In a protest against the car-oriented culture in the city, dozens of cyclists rode nude through downtown on Saturday, demanding respect from motorists. According to a report by the Associated Press, protestors with slogans like "Respect Bike Riders" painted on their bodies, turned heads in a city where it's rare to see even clothed riders due to city's heavy traffic.

In response to Pope Benedict's ongoing visit to Poland, authorities have placed a temporary ban on sexy ads and liquor across regions the Pope plans on visiting. According to Reuters, sexy ads like that of a woman's nude backside and thigh on a huge poster were wrapped, when a Roman Catholic group denounced them as offensive to the Pope's trip. Even newspapers held off on publishing their usual photos of topless beauty queens, which always appear on the back pages of many Polish tabloids.

A Californian city owes big bucks to a strip club after trying to change local zoning laws in an effort to shut it down for good. The city of San Bernardino owes the all-nude lounge, the Flesh Club, $1. 4 million after a court ruled that the zoning ordinance the city used to prohibit nude dancing at the club from 1995 to 1999 was unconstitutional.

Contemporary artist Spencer Tunick, known for his photographs of nude figures, has been at it again. The American photographer managed to persuade around 1,000 people to strip off in Spain in the name of art. According to reports, the artist expected about 300 volunteers to attend for his new creation, but he has been gladly surprised when about 1,000 have been attracted to the place. All of them have posed for his contemporary picture.

More than 1,200 people have stripped off in the Spanish town of San Sebastian for a nude photo shoot. The shoot was organized by Spencer Tunick, a U. S. artist famous for his photos of naked crowds in public spaces.
