Three police officers in Berlin are facing disciplinary action for lifting their kilts at a formal event while being nude underneath. Berlin police spokesman Klaus Schubert says to Reuters, "The three were drunk, wore kilts and then started a squabble with some colleagues.

Animal rights activists staged a nude protest Saturday in northeastern Barcelona to demonstrate against the torture and killing of animals to make fur coasts. 70 men and women curled up on the pavement outside Barcelona's City Hall. The protest, staged by AnimaNaturalis and PETA international animal rights groups, was watched by several dozen passers-by. In a statement, AnimaNaturalis said millions of animals were captured, tortured and killed each year to make fur coats. In Spain alone, 26 million animals - among them rabbits, foxes, minks and lambs - were killed in 2003 to make coats, the group said.

City officials are trying to ascertain how a woman was able to sneak into the North American International Auto Show after closing time to pose naked on top a new concept car. The early Monday morning photography session occurred around 2:30 a. m. when only workers and security guards were supposed to be inside the Cobo Center where the event was being held.

An activist for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) was arrested Wednesday afternoon in downtown Minneapolis, not for her protesting, but for her chosen attire, or lack there of, while doing it. A nude Michelle Y. Cho, 24, of Los Angeles, while protesting outside the Minnesota Pork Congress, labeled her exposed body parts to represent cuts of meat and sat below a banner reading, "All Animals Have the Same Parts. Go Vegetarian. "

A nude tourist proved desperate for an airline ticket, after resorting to stripping in the terminal of the international airport in Cancun, Mexico, asking other tourists for money. The woman was identified by Mexican officials as 22 year-old Vera Tulukasova, a Lithuanian national.
