What was intended as entertainment proved to be a disaster as delegates at the Australia and New Zealand Climate Forum in Canberra walked out in disgust when a striptease, complete with corsets and balloons, emerged from the backstage to provide a lighthearted break from the long hours of discussion regarding rising temperatures. The show was cut short and organizers had to issue an apology as some scientists were offended by the act.

A strip-tease has spurred Australian Government sponsors to pull their money from the Australian National University campaign on global warming. Event coordinators thought the 45-minute show complete with women dressed in corsets covered in balloons would serve as light-hearted entertainment for the global warming conference. Instead it had some delegates walking out of the room. The show was cut after 10 minutes.

Due to the intense heat wave, teens have resorted to going around and playing games in the bohemian town of Brattleboro in the nude. No one has been arrested or ticketed yet as public nudity isn't illegal unless done to arouse sexual gratification.

Dropping an earlier plan to censor the photo, the subway walls in Tokyo will now feature a nude and pregnant Britney Spears. The advertisement space at the posh Omotesando station next week will be rented by HB Japan Inc. , publisher of the Japanese edition of Harper's Bazaar. They aim to promote their October issue with Spears posing naked on the cover. The AP reports that the advertisement that will appear in Tokyo is the same that was used in the August issue of the magazine's U. S. edition. It shows the 24 year old Spears baring her belly but she covers her breasts with her hands.

London traders are taking their clothes off to raise money for charity. The KatCanDo charity is making a calendar that will feature 12 nude people with strategically placed objects covering their embarrassing bits.
