Sister Kathy Avery, a principal from a catholic school will not tolerate bad words spreading in the school, and she will not hesitate mentioning the offending language to make sure everybody understands which words she do not want to hear from students.

After a Mass last month, fifth to eight graders were gathered by the principal of St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School and informed that she had no tolerance for cursing.

Avery read aloud all the words and phrases she was banning just in case anyone wasn't sure what she was talking about.

Sister Avery said, "It got a little quiet in church" during her talk, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Reportedly some guardians were shocked with what they heard from the nun but others applauded and praised her for the courage she showed.

Chairperson of the school commission Margaret Roache said, "In a way you would think a nun would shy away from something like that, but she's very open with the children, very clear in her messages."
