Gay Patient To Sue Hospital, Medical Team Over 'YouTube' Video

A gay patient from central Philippines is set to file formal charges against doctors and nurses of a hospital who posted over the Internet video-sharing site YouTube, a video of a medical procedure where doctors removed a perfume canister from his rectum. Worst, the video also showed the doctors and nurses, "cheering and shouting with excitement" as the canister was removed, which further ridiculed and embarrassed the victim, who remains unidentified.

According to hospital staff, doctors were just starting to work on 22-year old Rima Pivavora sorting out delivery complications when the town was engulfed in darkness.

Cat Shows Apparent Ability To Predict Human Death At A Rhode Island Hospital

A 2-year-old cat from Providence, Rhode Island is making news for his unusual ability to predict the death of patients. Oscar the cat curls up next to the dying patients during their final hours, usually meaning they have less than four hours to live. According to hospital doctors, Oscar's ability, observed in 25 cases, has led the staff to call family members once he has chosen someone. AP quotes Dr. David Dosa as writing in the Thursday's issue of the New England Journal of Medicine, "He doesn't make too many mistakes. He seems to understand when patients are about to die. "

Dog Nurses Stray Kitten Found Under Car

A three-year-old dachshund and a stray kitten have formed such a strong relationship some may wonder if they really belong to two different species. Lillie, the dog, not only hangs out and naps with Tahoe, the kitten, she also feeds him several times a day as if he was her own pup. The unusual relationship started at the home of Eunice Collins who found Tahoe few weeks ago hiding in the hood of her Chevrolet Tahoe; hence the name. Tahoe was so small that Collins thought it appropriate to keep in him in her bedroom so that he is not hurt by any of her other pets; two dogs and four cats.
