One of only eight known photographs of Florence Nightingale goes on display in the United Kingdom Monday. The black-and-while photo shows Nightingale reading in front of her family home in Hampshire. Taken in 1858, the photo was snapped by a local pharmacist Nightingale met while gathering medical supplies for her trip to the Crimea.

With Chastity Keeler giving birth to twin boys, a series of twin births began at Lansing's Sparrow Hospital in Michigan. After Keeler gave birth to two boys at 9:05 a. m. and 9:06 a. m. Tuesday, five more mothers gave birth to twins over the next 32 hours. Sparrow nurses, doctors and officials think that's probably a record for the hospital.

A Michigan hospital is experiencing a baby boom of sorts when six sets of twins were born there within 32 hours. The births happened at Lansing's Sparrow Hospital and could mark a record for the hospital according to the Associated Press. Sparrow spokeswoman Nan Simons told the Lansing State Journal Friday, "We have a number of experienced nurses, and it's the first time within their collective memory that we've had six sets of twins born in such close proximity. "

German prostitutes are scrambling to sign up for classes that will train them to be nurses or telemarketers. Reuters reports that 30 sex workers in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia are enrolled in the classes, which are so popular there is a waiting list.
