An Ohio woman said she never wants to visit New York after the city slapped her with a $50 traffic violation. The problem is the woman was in Ohio when the violation occurred.

A police camera placed in Mahattan's Greenwich Villages took the picture of a car baring similar license plate numbers to Lisa Sims, who lives in Middleton, Ohio.

Sims plates read "D-Q-N" while the vehicle the police actually photographed bared the numbers "D-O-N."

The vehicle photographed was a sedan and Sims drives a pickup truck. However, she said it took a long time to prove that to the New York City Finance Department.
