A small town in Texas now has a new international owner. Someone in Italy placed the winning bid on eBay for the town of Albert, Texas.

The bid, for $3.8 million, still has to be authenticated. Real estate sold on eBay does not have contractual obligations.

Real estate agent Bobby Cave, 47, sold the town. He said there are five other interested buyers if the winning bid doesn't pan out.

The uninhabited town is 13 acres big and is about 60 miles north of San Antonio. It has a tavern that's only open on the weekends, a pavilion, one house, peach and pecan orchards, a dance hall, a schoolhouse and a tractor shed.
