An Oregon town mayor has been kicked out from her post after posing on a fire truck in her black bra and underwear.

According to city officials, Mayor Carmen Kontur-Gronquist narrowly lost in Monday's recall election, 142-139, in a town with 500 registered voters. The recall is effective Tuesday.

The mayor said she posed in her underwear for use in a contest regarding fitness, but her relative posted it in MySpace, a broadcasting network in the internet, with the aim of improving the social life of the single mother.

The photo was taken before Kontur-Gronquist was elected town mayor, but she did not removed the photo from the popular Web site, despite having won as mayor three years ago.

However, her political opponents disagreed with her and argued it was not fitting for the mayor to pose on her underwear.
