A Florida couple has traded the right to name their baby for a $100 gas card.

David Partin, 26, told the Orlando Sentinel that "times are rough," so to have some free gas is worth giving up the right to name his baby. That's why he called into the 96.5 FM (WHTQ) radio contest to offer a suggestion in the contest for the most interesting thing to trade for the gift card. He said the DJs could name his baby, due in December.

The DJs jumped on the opportunity. When the baby is born he will be named after the two DJs, Dixon and Willoughby Partin. The "and" will be included.

The mother, Samantha Partin, says she will go along with the name because the couple agreed that if the baby is a boy, David would name it and if were a girl, Samantha would name it. Besides, she told the Orlando Sentinel, at least little Dixon and Willoughby will have an interesting story about where his name came from.

Friends of the couple have reportedly offered up to $300 to name the baby. David said he liked that idea, and now the couple has put the offer to name their child on the open market.
