Police are on the lookout for the men responsible for a rash of armed robberies targeting ice cream trucks.

Some ice cream truck drivers who usually ride around apartment complexes in MetroWest Orlando, an area known for skyrocketing crime rates, said they will never return out of fear.

Orlando Police Officers said two men armed with guns are attacking these trucks during daylight hours with children around. Police have not been able to find the suspects.

The most recent case happened at Timber Sound apartments. Police said they are concerned for the safety of children in the area.

Resident Larry Holmes said, "She (ice cream truck driver) said she would never come back to this neighborhood because of what happened."
