Local authorities reported that a bank in the town's shopping center was held up Thursday by an old man in a wheelchair. Reports say that the suspect was an elderly white male, between 65 and 70 years old, has grey hair and was sporting a beard. He was immobilized, police said, as he was seen with bandaged legs, with one in a cast.

The feud between two Minnesota towns about who has the right to use the name "Ice Box of the Nation" got more complicated on Sunday after a counter suit was filed by International Falls against Fraser. "We're trying to resolve this. They filed the same on us now," Fraser Town Manger Jeff Durbin told Summit News. "We knew it was coming, so I'm not surprised. "

Police authorities arrested a local flower shop owner who was found to have been growing the illegal kind of greenery. Jeffrey Izard, 52, was discovered to have been cultivating marijuana in an apartment located right above the Kinzel Flower Shop. Officials said that the apartment, which was Izard's residence, contained grown plants, as well as equipment used to cultivate it.

A book with a lock of John Lennon's hair will be put up for auction on Wednesday, and experts predict that it could go for as much as $6,200. The book "A Spaniard in the Works" was the same one Lennon gave to Betty Glasgow, the official Beatles hairdresser, with the lock of hair purposely inserted inside. Inside the book can be found the inscription, "To Betty, Lots of Love and Hair, John Lennon. "
