Now that Christmas is over, what can be a better place than somebody else's backyard to keep the used trees and that too if they are 37 in number. Instead of a witty punch line that's what actually happened with an Allentown woman.
On a very usual morning, Carol Lopez woke up to find an unusual number of Christmas tree trunks surrounding her aboveground backyard pool.
"I had just woke up and boom, they're there and that's it," Lopez told the Morning Call on Thursday.
Lopez said that whoever put the trees there apparently took their time since it was hard to transport 37 trees across the tall wooden fence surrounding the yard and then neatly organize them.
"People just don't have anything better to do," Lopez told the Morning Call. "That's someone who had time on their hands."
Lopez said that a city employee told her husband to drag the trees out of the backyard and that they would be picked up free of charge.
