After returning to the site of an unauthorized party to retrieve a pair of pants, an 18 year old man was charged with felony burglary and property damage.
Eric Hening was caught at the home of Sheboygan Police Officer Timothy Patton when he returned the night after Patton's son threw a party that included underage alcohol consumption without his father's permission.
According to authorities, a police-issued handgun, seven other firearms, ammunition, speed loaders, high-powered radios and several Sheboygan Police Department uniform shirts were taken during the party.
However, Hening has only been charged with theft of a shirt and misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property and obstructing an officer.
Hening was found wearing the inside-out police department shirt by a sheriff's department deputy while he was hiding in the shower of an upstairs bathroom.
According to the criminal complaint, Hening told authorities that he had returned to retrieve a pair of pants. Hening also stated that he entered the house by climbing a ladder and entering a second floor window.
