After a year-long investigation, 32 South Floridians are being charged with drug-related crimes. The group is responsible for actions taken out under "Operation Carpetbagger. "U. S. Attorney R. Alexander Acosta says the investigation into "Operation Carpetbagger" focused on heroin smuggling and distribution organization, mainly in Palm Beach County.

A fake soothsayer charged a woman $6,000 for an unnecessary exorcism. Police in the central town of Northeim say, according to Reuters, that the 44-year-old was told she was possessed by a young woman who read her palm at a Christmas market.

Two teenage girls are being held in juvenile detention after they faked their own kidnappings. They go before a judge Tuesday. According to investigators, 15-year-old Shena Armond and 16-year-old Charlene Charles called their mothers to say they had been kidnapped and taken to West Palm Beach.
