A 21-year-old man went into a shock and was rushed to the hospital after allegedly having an argument with a parking enforcement officer. CTV reported that police saw a parking enforcement officer involved in a confrontation with a man parked on Sackville Street in the Dundas Street East and Parliament Street .

A 15-year-old boy doing a paving job here Friday after accidentally being buried by hot asphalt that suddenly unloaded from a truck. Co-workers failed to dig the boy's body out of the heated asphalt and burned their hands in the process. Firefighters who came to the scene on Quarry Road took 14 minutes to recover the dead boy.

A driver was injured by a group of cyclists Friday after several from the group became violent when he attempted to drive his vehicle through the mass of bicycle riders. The group of bikers came together, as they do every last Friday in Seattle, to ride in a "Critical Mass Ride," which one web site says is an event "to celebrate cycling and to assert cyclists' right to the road. "

A 79-year-old man watching the construction of a church here from inside his car died when a crane hoisting a steeple collapsed and crashed on him Thursday. Winfred Stafford of Oklahoma City was crushed in the front seat of his Toyota Avalon in the parking lot of the new Grace Assembly of God church.

A survey conducted by property firm Colliers International revealed that the City of London is the world's most expensive place to park a car, reports the Financial Times. Colliers said that parking in Central, London's financial district, averages $1,167 monthly or $68 a day compared with New York's Midtown area, which is at $585 a month, and Tokyo at $552. After Central, the next most expensive parking is still in London in the West End area at $1,136 a month.
