A Canadian provincial party takes offense after the opposition Saskatchewan Party misspells the name of its own province. Reuters reports a television commercial that listed complaints against the current government spelled Saskatchewan as Saskatchwan.

A woman left her friend as "security" at a gas station after running out of money, but failed to come back for her friend or pay for the gas. The 20-year-old told an attendant in Muenchberg, Bavaria that she would rush to the nearest ATM and leave her friend Maria Hundstorfer, as collateral for her promise to pay.
