In a recent theft at a public library in northern New Zealand, thieves stole the penis of a wooden Maori figurine erected at the entrance. The three masked men armed with a chisel were caught by a security camera removing the tiki's or statue's penis early on Sunday morning.

Surgeons in China who said they performed the first successful penis transplant removed the organ because the recipient and his wife suffered severe psychological problems. Dr. Wellie Hu and other surgeons at Guangzhou General Hospital attached the donated organ to a 44-year-old man during a 15-hour operation. His penis had been damaged in a serious accident that left him unable to have intercourse or urinate normally.

An Iraqi man who had claimed that an airport security guard misheard him saying bomb, was Wednesday cleared of all the charges against him. The incident occurred at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, when a guard at security check point reportedly thought that a sexual device in Mardin Amin's backpack was actually a bomb. Mardin Amin had claimed that he actually told the guard the small, black object was a "pump," as in a penis pump. Amin was detained over felony disorderly conduct charges and released on $75,000 bond.

A 65-year-old woman is facing charges of mutilation after she was caught mutilating her dead husband's penis so she could "pickle it as a souvenir of their marriage. " According to a report by The Sun, the woman was identified as Uta Schneider of Stuttgart, Germany, reportedly used a butcher's knife to sever the member at a local hospital.
