A 23-year-old man in Minersville, Utah reportedly broke into the only grocery store in Mitown and spoiled $7,000 worth of goods Sunday. Now the customers in the town would have to wait for a week until the store's next delivery comes on Wednesday.

The refrigerated section at Todd's Market was allegedly ransacked and spoiled by Christopher Souda, who took almost everything including ribeye steaks, roasts, pork chops and the cheese section.

Store's owner Todd McMullin, 42 told the police that Souda allegedly took some goods to a mobile home near the store but he spoiled many perishable goods by throwing them into the 100-degree basement. It was not clear what the motive behind his behaviour was.

AP reports that Souda surrendered early Monday after barricading himself in his brother's trailer. He is now wanted for parole violations in Florida. Minersville is in Beaver County, about 200 miles south of Salt Lake City.
