Yoko Ono tasted a corgi kebab Tuesday night as part of a protest against the British Royal Family's treatment of animals. Controversial performance artist Mark McGowan cooked and ate the dead dog - the same breed as the queen's favorite pets - on a London radio show on which John Lennon's widow was also a guest. Following his performance on London's 104. 4 Resonance FM, McGowan said: "It's really, really disgusting. It's stinky, it's not like any meat I've seen.

Maybe the passenger with 700 snakes in his carry-on bag hadn't seen the movie "Snakes on a Plane," before he tried to board a flight from Egypt to Saudi Arabia on Thursday. Authorities only discovered the snakes after airline staff asked him to open his bag before he boarded the flight. The man complied with the request, but warned the airport employee not to get too close. Inside the bag were 700 writhing snakes, including two deadly cobras.

Performance artist Mark McGowan is planning to cook and eat a corgi in protest against the British Royal Family. The 37-year-old will eat one of the dogs - famous for being Queen Elizabeth's favorite pets - on a live radio show next week in protest at the royals' treatment of animals. McGowan told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I'm raising awareness at the inability of the RSPCA to prosecute Prince Philip and his friends for shooting a fox this year. It was left to fight for life for five minutes then beaten to death. "

We all know that dogs wag their tails to express happiness, but a new Italian study now suggests that dogs show pleasure by wagging their tails more towards the right, while negative feelings get a left-swaying wag. An Italian neuroscientist at the University of Trieste, Dr. Giorgio Vallortigara, and two veterinarians from the University of Bari, Marcello Siniscalchi and Angelo Quaranta, closely watched 30 caged family pets of mixed breeds over 25 days, performing 10 tests per day.

A Japan-bound Vietnam Airlines plane was forced to remain grounded for nearly four hours after a passenger spotted a white mouse on the plane. The aviation authorities suspect the mouse might have hitched a ride aboard the plane in the hand luggage or pocket of one of the passengers and eventually escaped. The Boeing 777 from the central city of Da Nang landed at the Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport late Saturday and was scheduled to fly to Japan but the flight was delayed after a passenger aboard the plane reported the airplane crew of the mouse.
