Police charged a 13-year-old Philadelphia boy with murder for setting a fire that killed a teenage girl and seriously wounded her mother.

The boy started the fire because of a dispute over money. It was set in rowhouse located in the city's East Mount Airy neighborhood, reports The Associated Press.

Rescuers pulled Tineshia Robinson, 17, from a second-story bedroom.

She died of smoke inhalation. Her mother, Jasmine Robinson, 46, suffered burns and smoke inhalation.
