Overspeeding drivers who pass through Holly Spring in Georgia would be issued not only a speeding ticket, but also a $12 fuel surcharge. The extra fee was approved by the city council to cover the extra fuel cost used in chasing overspeeding drivers, said Holly Springs Police Chief Ken Ball. The fuel surcharge takes effect July 1 to augment the department's budget which had been eaten up by escalating fuel prices.

It will be a hot summer in this Chicago neighbor this year, not only because of the rising temperature but a ban on window-mounted air conditioner units. The prohibition is the result of an ordinance approved by the village board in March. It specifically banned the installation of window-mounted air coolers on walls that face the street or in side windows 12 feet or less from the street.

A total of 30 pans were reportedly stolen from a Pizza Hut. According to local officials, the incident was first discovered when pizza store employees arrived for work to discover that all of the pans needed to make pizzas had disappeared.

A man from North Potomac, Maryland made a goldmine out of the domain name he had been maintaining since 1994 for $20 a year after the web address sold for $2. 6 million in an online site that auctions domains. Chris Clark's pizza. com received the highest bid from an anonymous bidder when the auction closed Thursday. The bidding ran for a week.

A public school is bringing back lessons on the long lost value of etiquettes and good manners. Brighton College said beginning next school year, the institution will start educating its pupils on how to waltz at weddings, use cutlery and glasses and tie a bow tie.
