A convicted cop killer skipped his own dinner on the eve of his execution and instead requested jail authorities to deliver vegetarian pizzas to any homeless person located near Riverbend Maximum Security Institution. Although the request was denied by jail authorities citing their policy matters, the wish didn't remain unfulfilled, thanks to several volunteers who came forward and donated pizzas to homeless shelters across Nashville. The pizzas started pouring in at the homeless shelters across the town right beginning Wednesday morning when Nashville's Oasis Center received a delivery of 17 pizzas from a Minneapolis, Minnesota, radio station, CNN. com reports.

In an attempt to collect artifacts that represent life from modern times, the Finnish National Museum and the Helsinki City Museum are keeping a box for a frozen pizza as one of their several new collectibles. The artifacts in the museum would represent life from the 21st century and would include items like the pizza box and an edition of the music magazine Sue.

An Indiana man hopes to market a new line of literal roadkill pizza where the toppings would be scooped out of the remains the animals killed in road. Named as Roadkill Frozen Pizza, inventor Ira Scott is literally on-the-road picking up roadkill and making frozen pizza pies out of highway flattened critters. To the relief of customers, the roadkill pizza comes in a 'cheesy' strange looking cardboard pizza box with a tire track running through the middle of the pie.

A 21-year-old man wolfed down 4. 8 pounds of turkey in 12 minutes at an annual turkey-eating contest Wednesday, beating out the 2nd-place winner by a full pound. Now Patrick Bertoletti says he doesn't want to eat any turkey on Thanksgiving and that he's going to dine on venison instead. Bertoletti, a 190-pound culinary student from Chicago, said he devoured the turkey breast first.

Two men suspected of robbing a pizza delivery woman were arrested after the sheriff deputy investigating the theft smelled the hot pepperoni and sausage pizzas at a home. The officer, Jimmy Green, sniffed out the suspects as he was asking a witness questions and he smelled the pizzas in the neighboring home.
