A new British survey indicates, Big Macs are plentiful where the increasingly obese poor live. Researchers discovered that for England and Scotland there is a strong correlation between neighborhood deprivation and the presence of Mickey D's restaurants, but obesity is not connected to the fast food chain or any others.

A man who was fired after eating two slices of leftover pizza after a company meeting has won a contest held by Silicon Valley judges assembled by Simply Hired. The man, Jim Garrison, won the contest beating out over 1,200 entries of strange and odd firings that ran as stories on the Internet over the last year.
