A Southwest Airlines flight from Phoenix, Arizona to Detroit, Michigan made an emergency landing at the Denver International Airport Saturday to remove a woman who became unruly and attacked passengers and crew.

Fellow passengers told Detroit television station Local 4 that the woman was waiting in line to use the rest room when a man accidentally bumped into her. She began hitting the man and yelling at him. A few passengers got out of their seats to aid the man, but the woman then turned her anger toward a flight attendant and began attacking her.

In all, it took about six men to subdue the woman, who the airline is not identifying.

The crew then decided to divert the flight to Denver, Colorado so the woman could be removed from the plane. The plane then proceeded to Detroit.

The woman was taken into federal custody in Denver, the Aviation Herald reported
