Motorists were in for a surprise when the airplane landed on Lone Mountain Road in northern Scottsdale, chosen by the 35-year-old pilot for its lack of traffic and remote location, when he and his 19-year-old student co-pilot were forced to land unexpectedly.

Air Force Reverses Claims, Now Says Texas UFOs Were Fighter Jets

The Air Force has reversed its earlier statement denying that any military aircraft flew over Texas on the evening of Jan. 8. The denial led people to believe that the planes, with their glowing lights, were alien spaceships or so-called unidentified flying objects (UFOs). CNN on Wednesday reported that the Air Force Reserve Command Public Affairs issued a statement saying their initial report denying activity was a mistake.

UFO Sightings Baffle Texans

Experts in UFOs are trooping to the once quiet farming community in Stephenville, Texas after receiving reports that at least a dozen of its residents have been seeing mysterious lights in the sky lately. Among those who have claimed to have seen the bright lights hovering the skies were a pilot, a policeman and local business owners. Some even claim seeing fighter jets chasing the unidentified craft when the lights appeared on January 8. However, the local Air Force base issued a statement saying none of its planes were in the area at the given time.

The FBI has posted some new details in this cold case and are, once again, asking the public for help. On Nov. 24, 1971, a non-descript man calling himself Dan Cooper approached the counter of Northwest Orient Airlines in Portland, Oregon. He used cash to buy a one-way ticket on Flight #305, bound for Seattle, Washington.

Palestinian Stowaway Survives Flight To Singapore

Aviation authorities are investigating how a man breached security and hid himself in the wheel well of a Boeing 777 flying from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. The stowaway fell after Singapore Airlines Flight SQ 119 had just taxied to Gate F33 at Changi Airport's Terminal Two after a 55-minute flight from Kuala Lumpur just before 11 p. m. last Thursday.
