The Centers for Disease Control headquarters is offering an odd toy in its gift shop: a stuffed and fuzzy version of the H1N1 virus microbe.

The swine flu version is being sold among other toy versions of microbes, Atlanta's WXIA-TV.

A Delaware-based company named GIANTmicrobes sells the swine flu plush toy.

Along with the H1N1 toy, GIANTmicrobes also makes fuzzy models of bed bugs, mad cow disease, and even STDs like syphilis and gonorrhea.

According to their Web site, the company views the toys as "learning tools." Each microbe represented in furry form is accompanied by information about the disease it embodies.
