The Philadelphia Police Department is firing a 32-year-old officer who has now been proved guilty of ordering two women to put on a "sex show" in a jail cell in September, 2003.
Internal Affairs investigators found Norberto Cappas ordered the two women to kiss and touch each other and expose their breasts. The two had been in jail on suspicion of drug possession, but they had no drugs and weren't charged with a crime.
AP reports that Cappas is now found guilty of conduct unbecoming an officer and lying during a departmental investigation. The case was reopened after many years when the Philadelphia Inquirer raised questions about it last year.
One of the women filed a civil lawsuit and was awarded $17,500 after it was proved that she was wrongly detained.
