A school gym teacher is now in hot water after military police in the Brazilian city of Niteroi filed a case against him for teaching his students how to play football.
Unfortunately for Assad Couto, the gym teacher at the Military Police Superior School, his students play "terribly," and the footballs always land in the parking lot of the neighboring Military Police Association and damage parked cars.
The Anova Ltd. Web site reports a spokesman for the school defended Couto, saying, "This is ridiculous - they are a bunch of old, frustrated policemen who can't stand the vitality of our students!"
But a spokesperson for the association charged back: "It is obvious these kids can't play football; they are hopeless! They are constantly jumping our wall to catch the balls. If they were good they wouldn't need to do that - they would be scoring goals!"
