Police found more than 200 marijuana plants growing in a south Florida mall.
Investigators are still looking for the growers of the plants at the Mall of the Americas in West Miami-Dade County, who they say had a sophisticated operation.
The back room in the mall was fitted with a camera so that the growers could monitor their grow room remotely. They had also diverted power to the lamps and fans inside from power sources in the mall.
Authorities said that the plants were three-to-six-feet tall, and had the street value of at least $3,500 per pound in Miami and that they would be worth twice that amount if shipped and sold in New York, according to reports.
