Two adults face numerous charges after police responded to reports of an overturned car they say a 10-year-old boy might have been driving at speeds of up to 90 miles per hour before crashing with two other children and the two adults in the car. Police charged one of the adults, Randy Lewis, with his third DUI and child abuse, he admitted to drinking at least 15 beers and liquor before the crash on Flatwoods Road, in the middle of Cherokee National Forest.

A 75-year-old wife is facing murder charges after shooting her sleeping husband to death because she was fed up with his alleged mental abuse. Arkansas resident Myrtle Marie Walter confessed to Benton County police that she shot Paul Walter, 74, with a . 357-caliber revolver thrice on Saturday while he was sleeping in their bedroom. Waiving her right to an attorney, Walter told detectives she killed her husband also because he wanted sex.

A jaded husband took revenge on his wife and her lover when she told him she was leaving to be with the other man. Robert Avery McClain, 34, a Los Angeles Deputy, was charged with aggravated mayhem, torture and sodomy after holding the couple at knifepoint in the leasing office where the wife, whose name has not been released, worked.

Police have arrested a mother and daughter for allegedly prostituting themselves on Craig's List. A sting operation landed 38-year-old Traci Young and her daughter, Tami Smith, 22, in jail when an undercover officer made an appointment with the women, went to their home, and allegedly made an agreement to pay $200 to have sex with both of them.

An Austrian man allegedly killed his in-laws when he set their home on fire with a flame-thrower. He then attempted suicide by stabbing himself in the stomach. Austrian police told reporters that the 48-year-old man poured gasoline in a room in the 84-year-old couple's home before lighting a propane gas bottle and throwing it into the gasoline. The woman was a diabetic amputee and was burned alive. Her husband managed to escape, but his body was found lying on a bench near the couple's home.
