Several New York City residents pitched in Thursday to lift a five-ton bus off a dying pregnant woman, saving her unborn baby in the process. New York City Police Department traffic agent Donnette Sanz, 33, was crossing a Bronx street when a van struck her, knocking her into the path of a 10,000-pound school bus. She was run over and pinned under the bus.

Two Bigfoot hunters from Georgia will unveil Friday a photograph and DNA from a carcass of the legendary creature they claim to have found in the woods of Georgia. In a press statement, police officer Matthew Whitton and former prison guard Rick Dyer said they will present the evidence at the Cabana Hotel-Palo Alto from noon to 1 p. m. They claim that Bay Area Bigfoot researcher Tom Biscardi has examined the carcass of the Bigfoot stored in a freezer.

Details about her spy background and nearly 24,000 other OSS employees were revealed in newly released documents, withheld from public view as classified records for decades by the CIA, according to reports from the Associated Press.

He was not laughing and the court was not joking when the St. Joseph County District Court on Wednesday sentenced a 20-year-old man posing as the 'Joker' to one day in jail and 16 hours of community service, after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of malicious destruction of property. Spencer Taylor was charged with trying to steal a poster of the Batman movie "The Dark Knight," at a movie theater lobby on July 27. At the time Taylor was dressed as the "Joker" character, the main villain in the latest installment of the Batman franchise.

Police in Longmont, Colorado are looking for a man who claimed to be a police detective in an effort to obtain free adult videos from a novelty shop. The store manager told police that an unidentified man came into the shop at least three times to demand free copies of X-rated videos. He said he wanted the videos to determine if performers were not underage and not violating any laws.
