A highly popular British pop band storms out of its debut performance on BBC TV's
The two siblings who make up the group The Magic Numbers, refuse to perform their single on Sunday's edition of the show after taking offense to comments made by guest host Richard Bacon.
Newspaper reports indicate that during rehearsals, Bacon introduced the band by saying, "What do you get when you put two brothers and sisters in a band?" A big fat melting pot of talent."
On their Web site, the band says they felt they had to make a stand and walk out following "derogatory, unfunny remarks made during the guest presenter's introduction."
